80% of our time and resources are allocated to Fundraising.

 

The FOP 311 will plan and execute several fundraising efforts in the coming years. These activities will include an annual Cornhole Tournament, game nights, concerts, picnics, and other activities to bring out the community to support our veterans.

 

The annual Cornhole Tournament, along with other fundraising events, will include the solicitation of sponsors, players and vendors. Additional smaller scale events will be planned to raise awareness of our new organization and to begin to identify volunteers to support our future efforts. Given the level of political support in the community, we will be looking to invite our legislators to a targeted fundraising event geared toward highlighting the accomplishments of the VFW Post 311, its goal to find an alternate location and our efforts to assist them.
